Description
Lama dancing at the Hemis Festival (or Tse-Chu Festival). I once attended a talk by Jetsunma Tensin Palmo (author of Cave in the Snow) who commented on Tibetan artwork. She mentioned that because their landscape was so spacious and barren, they wove a lot of intricacy and colourful design into their artwork. This was a good point. You could really see their love of bright and vivid colours not just in Lama dancing but even in their houses. Some were painted bright pastel purples and lime greens!

I love how the dog is sleeping through it all.
